Navigator is the full sized luxury sports utility vehicle of Lincoln. Lincoln Navigator is known as the big brother of Lincoln’s Aviator, which is a mid-sized SUV. Navigator represents comfort and luxury as compared to other luxury vehicles. The first generation of Navigator was introduced in 1998, it represents the impression of the American luxury SUV. In 2000, more features that depict extravagance were improved; this includes satellite navigation system and reverse sensing system as well as side impact airbags. The 2003 Lincoln Navigator is under the flagship of the 2nd generation of Navigator. The level of expectations of the buyers for luxury vehicles brought about Lincoln Navigator redesigned. The L model is 14.7 in (373 mm) longer than the standard Navigator that emphasizes size and power.
